I just received this 2 Point Mandolin last Monday. It's been sitting on the stand in my living room ever since. It's not set up yet, but it wont take much to dial it in. Bruce Brockman (the builder) asked me to let the mandolin adjust to our beautiful Minnesota Winter for a few weeks before I do any adjustments.

I don't see much mention of Bruce on this site so I thought I would bring it to your attention. Here is where you can find him:

Looks very nice. Love the turquoise.
Must be hard to wait with it sitting there.

Sorry Sue, I think I may have misled you. I've been playing the mandolin every day. Bruce set it up nicely, but I would like to tweak it just a bit, and for that he asked me to wait a little while.

I like the look of his work. He makes some interesting mandolas and bouzoukis as well. Might be a builder to watch! I look forward to hearing your mando.

Thanks! Looks and sounds good. Seems to have a nice bass response.

Yes, I agree Chuck. This was recorded on my phone, not the best fidelity, but I would say the mandolin is well suited to folk music.
