Odd Issue With Uploading Images

This started about a week ago. When I click on the "Insert Image" icon and the pop-up window appears and I follow the instructions as per usual - nothing happens. Well, the cursor blinks, but no image appears. I discovered a day or two ago that if I go back a second time and start over, clicking on the "Insert Image," and the pop-up window appears prompting for the url of an online image, then click on the "from computer" source option, everything proceeds just fine. So I just tried switching the first selection to "from url" and back to "from computer" - nope, nada, bupkis. So it seems it's just that first image upload attempt is affected by this. Not the biggest problem, not by a long shot, but I figured you would want to know something's up.

It took 10-15 seconds but then it worked the first time here. Looks like I clicked 4 times before I saw a reaction

It could be size-related. It just worked fine for a small (<100k) jpg, but a larger one of 4megs, typical these days, took 10-15 seconds to load, as you said. It still seems odd, though, as the delay only occurs while loading the first image, not the second and subsequent ones. And also, it's a new development. I'm just suggesting someone at the home office might want to look into it. It might be a symptom of something more serious. I sure hope not.

Much of what you're describing is impacted by your connectivity at the local level. Suggest you reboot and give your local provider time to work out any connectivity issues they may be experiencing.

I must reboot a half-dozen times or more a day, due to an equipment issue, so that's not it. I'm thinking it's related to the image size. It's odd how consistently the problem crops up, though, as well as the solution (second time success), but I'm glad there's no problem at your end.
