Oh yeah that's great! Ray is a really great player . Saw him years ago at Pickin in the Pasture in Lodi, NY. Never heard of him back then, but he was amazing that much I do remember. Thanks for sharing this video. Some great pickin for sure.

Ray is a great player. My buddy Hugh did a series of Covid session virtual recordings (green screens) and got Ray to play fiddle on a couple of classic Flatt and Scruggs renderings. I'm playing bass but would have loved to pick a few mando tunes with him! Ray kills it on the fiddle--gets a real Benny Martin sound!:
