Default Beethoven's Adagio for Mandolin and Piano

I am looking for an arrangement of Beethoven's Adagio for Mandolin and Piano,
which is for guitar and mandolin.

    Does such an arrangement exist?

I believe I have that same (in some folder in some box someplace in my basement). If so, know that E-flat isn't very guitar friendly, so there's some weird scordatura to accommodate.

There is also an arrangement by Woelki for mandolin orchestra which looks like it can be reduced to just mandolin and guitar -- the guitar part has the annotation "play the little notes only if there is no second mandolin or mandola". Woelki has dropped the piece by one semitone from E-flat major to D major which overcomes the problem Eugene has mentioned.

Woelki's arrangement is at the Nakano site, but as it's still in copyright and also still in print, you're better off ordering from Trekel (better print quality, too):

    https://www.trekel.de/Adagio-Ma-Non-...n-1755510.html (score)
    https://www.trekel.de/Adagio-Ma-Non-...n-1755505.html (guitar part)
    https://www.trekel.de/Adagio-Ma-Non-...n-1755511.html (solo mandolin)

It comes together with the Sonatine in C minor (in its original key).

"I have a version with piano and/or guitar by Siegfried Behrend I can make you a copy."

The Behrend arrangement is under copyright and still in print (Musikverlag Zimmerman).

"I believe I have that same (in some folder in some box someplace in my basement). If so, know that E-flat isn't very guitar friendly, so there's some weird scordatura to accommodate."

The guitar part is in E flat, with the E string tuned down to D, somewhat awkward to play.

"Sorry, wrong link. Try this one."

This arrangement is by Jurg Kindle, who is very capable. It can purchased (cheaply) from the publisher, Les Production D'Oz, as a PDF download, go to https://productionsdoz.com/product/1...non-troppo-43b

In the Kindle arrangement, the guitarist tunes the low E string to D, then capo at fret #1, so the open E sounds as E flat. Easier to play than the Behrend version.

I recently integrated the piano and mandolin parts into a solo mandolin arrangement for the Sonatina. I’d love to get real world feedback if you’re up for it. DM me your email and I’ll pass it your way!
