    I really like that list, but like all lists, we will always feel that something is missing ... Bittersweet Reel is missing, and for me it has all the best of Chris Thile: technique, execution, taste, very high high level. In fact, when I want to show someone what the American mandolin is, I make them listen to that piece ...

    Nice work, David! Of course, there are a couple of my favs I’d sub in, but that’s the great thing about his expansive library. The man has made a lot outstanding music, especially when you consider the Nickel Creek albums and some of his collabs with other artists (Yo Yo and Bela come to mind)…
