i don't know anything about PURA Guitars, a custom builder who lives in Saskatoon Canada...but from what i can see on his website http://www.puraguitars.com/, he is a really experienced luthier who could build you what you want, including custom inlay work with abalone and mother of pearl.

I don't know what his price range is so i just sent him a e-mail about it. Anyone here know anything about this custom builder?
Another reason why this builder intrests me, is because i live only 6 hrs from saskatoon

I just found out about Darrell myself. He has a nice-looking semi-hollow Tele-style 4-string with a single F-hole on his site. If you hear back from him about price ranges, do let us know.

Darell has a 5-string mandolin with two Fender pickups in stock right now for 750$ Canadian.
The pickups are probably not that good since they are Fender..but a custom order with different pickups would be easy to do. He usually just does custom orders and judging from the emando he has in stock right now, his prices would be very low for a custom.
