    I could be wrong, but I believe Chad Manning picks a Giacomel when he's not fiddling. Maybe it was a twofer deal.

    is in the Mandolin Cafe News section, he did charge admission, did not play a lot other than demonstrating various mandos, but talked in detail and depth about who made them, how he acquired them, what recordings he used them on and which were his favorites. On the whole it was a very cool.
