Default [off topic?] Fair demo musician cost?

    Hi everyone,
I wasn't sure where to post this.
Let's say I go the guitar or piano
version of Mandolin Cafe and find a musician
to create a rhythm track for a demo. A wav file
sent to me, recorded while listening to my existing track.
What would be a fair price to pay?
[Of course collaborating is better. Maybe later :^)]
    thanks - Joel

A fair price is whatever you agree on.

Or you could pay for a download of iRealPro.

OK, but hiring side men or women -- "Sidepeople?" is pretty interesting.
Especially if its reasonably priced. Who knows? Its an economy of some sort.
Maybe best in Nashville, Austin, LA, Memphis :^), New Orleans :^)

The Nashville rate appears to be 156 dollars for a demo. It assumes two hours of musician time. See the link below. There are other sites that pop up under Google as well giving different scale rates from various areas.
