Oblivion for solo mandola (in G) and accordion
I posted a video a few weeks ago elsewhere in the Cafe of my solo arrangement of Astor Piazzolla’s “Oblivion” which I performed on mandola in G (octave mandolin). My brother-in-law, Raymond Pierrehumbert, has now added an accordion part to make a virtual duet. Ray is a physics professor at Oxford in the UK (and a very distinguished one at that) and an accordion aficionado. We both enjoyed the collaboration and are likely to do more. The video is posted to Ray’s YouTube channel (see below) so please have a listen and, if the spirit moves, click “Thanks” here or "Like" on his YT channel:

Quite wonderful! You do Piazzolla proud. Looking forward to hearing more from this duo ...
