    Funny that the Charlie Daniels pic was with a Gibson F5. I saw live live once at the Blind Horse Saloon in Greenville, SC, between bigger shows in ATL and CHA (gosh, in 1995 or 1996?), and don’t recall him picking a mando. He played pretty much everything else with strings that night, and all well, but don’t recall a mando...
