Happy New Year all!
Happy New Year all!
Robert Johnson's mother, describing blues musicians:
"I never did have no trouble with him until he got big enough to be round with bigger boys and off from home. Then he used to follow all these harp blowers, mandoleen (sic) and guitar players."
Lomax, Alan, The Land where The Blues Began, NY: Pantheon, 1993, p.14.
Happy new year to you and all here at the Cafe’.

My song to usher in 2021 wasn't recorded with a mandolin part, so far as I know. Nonetheless, I believe it suits:

So should we say that 2020 is in the hindsight or do we just really mean it when we say hindsight is 2020?
Happy and prosperous 2021 mando peeps!

Depends on your punctuation.
Hear hear! I'm being cautiously optimistic. Mixed results from this unusual year. A lot of this and that. Summed up by this snippet from the optimistic Paul tempered by the cynical (some might say, pragmatic) John. Bear in mind, it could actually get worse. I sure hope not, though, and that 2020 in hindsight is indeed 20/20.
Anyway ...
Happy New Year, everyone! Here's hoping!
