Thread: Thank you Scott and Mandolin Cafe

Default Thank you Scott and Mandolin Cafe

I would like to thank Scott T and all those involved in the operation of our favorite website today. The quick news section on the front page allows those of us releasing recording projects to reach out to our mandolin brothers and sisters. It is greatly appreciated. Thank you! I would like to add, and I hope this is ok, that if anyone takes a chance in purchasing Sliding Ida please send all proceeds to the Cafe. Many thanks.

Not enough good things can be said about the Mandolin Cafe. Fantastic - and please always donate when you successfully use the classifieds. The resources here are priceless!

I see the rest of the tracks are now available on Bandcamp - just bought a copy. Sisters of Spring is a great tune...some good mando playing Dennis!

Interesting that so many of our wives have such similar things to say about the cafe.

Here's wishing Scott and the crew a happy, healthy and prosperous new year, and the same for all of you who help them to make this the greatest site on the 'net!

    I have to agree.
The amount of information readily available has been a real joy to read.
I have seen forum threads that show how “on it” Scott is when there is a question about a sale or seller that is simply hinky.
I have read about and learned so much about these wonderful instruments.
I have been introduced to numerous musicians I likely never would have heard of.
    Great thanks, Scott!
May your please continue to provide this wonderful resource, and joyful place to spend time when the rest of the world is falling to pieces.

Happy New Year to Scott and the moderators and all associated with designing and running this great site. Thank you for another great year - about the only thing during 2020 that didn't suck!

I think there must be a "Wives of Mandolin Cafe Members" forum hidden somewhere on the dark-web... The behaviors you guys are describing are just too universal to be coincidence.

There are probably sticky topics like I asked what he was doing and he said: and Ways to covertly divert WiFi that have been around as long as the Flatiron 1N compulsive purchase thread or Post a Video of yourself.

They probably discuss things like the "best hairy eyeball face," "ugh,... he's going to build another mandolin" and "What I
Can get accomplished while he's at the local jam."

I'm telling you, it must be a real (digital) place.

My spouse is tolerant, but wishes I had fewer "obsessions." I keep saying I could do much worse things! LOL!!
