Default Alison Stephens memorial tribute online

Just received from the British BMG Federation Committee:

"Saturday 10th October marks the 10th anniversary of the late, great British mandolin maestra Alison Stephens and you are invited to join us in remembering her and celebrating her legacy.

We commissioned Nigel Gatherer to put together a video tribute to her, featuring performances and interviews with people who knew her well.

The video will premiere on YouTube this Saturday, October 10th, at 7pm. The link to the video is https://youtu.be/mCsdZ1q9mpo

    We hope you enjoy it

That was very nice. I miss her presence here.

I actually booked her to a concert in Ohio in spring 2005. Unfortunate circumstances forced cancellation.

She was not only a fine musician but an outstanding teacher and composer and publisher of mandolin instruction books. I see now why folks have such respect for her. I'm gonna check out more of her recordings. Thanks for the nice tribute.
