    Default Freshgrass video- Everybody's Talkin'

This is marvelous and probably should go in the video part of the forum, but I figure it will get more views here, and I have a question:
Who is playing bass here? He looks a lot like my friend, James Condino, who I haven't asked. If it is, he's never mentioned it to me.
    Thanks!

Ah, Mass MOCA, in the Berkshire town of North Adams. What a fine town, I lived there once. And a really nice version of an excellent old song.

Hadn't heard of "Fresh Grass" but that's largely the group Mr. Sun with a couple of add ons. They didn't credit the musicians, anyone recognize the banjo player? I couldn't help notice her banjo had a serious radius (12"?) on the fretboard. Seems almost sacrilegious! (kidding) Thanks for sharing this video.

Banjo player is Allison Brown. The radius looks to me to be 12" also. I'm seriously jealous. I'm playing a banjo I built back in 1978 with a flat board. I'd radius it in a heartbeat except it's heavily inlaid and I'm afraid I'd sand through the inlay up high.Click image for larger version.

If you watch the (great) video on YouTube, it lists all the musicians, confirming that the group is “Mr. Sun with a couple of add ons.”

Seems Like Daryl and Mr Sun are frequent performers at Fresh Grass, I caught him with Mike Marshall last year, Allison Brown also a frequent Fresh Grass performer, she did a CCR tribute with a bunch of heavy hitters last year.
Its a unique festival at an old factory reborn as an Art Museum, performances are all very intimate and there is a great mix of "famous" and lesser known up and coming groups. Highly recommended if they ever have these again. Not far from Joe Val in Framingham or Grey Fox in Oakhill NY.
