Default Danilo Brito, tremolo, just a "wow!"

With so many absolutely brilliant mandolinists exhibiting their remarkable talents on Youtube, perhaps it is overkill to post a video. Still, I found Danilo Brito's tremolo style, as shown on this video, an absolute joy and am in hopes that sharing this remarkable video will demonstrate how tremolo, to my mind, can be so effective, so personal, and so unique to each performer.

(by the way, this post showd the typed link - I am not sure why the video itself does not appear - that part of posting is still a mystery to me)

I love that style of playing. The tone on the instrument is awesome. Is that a bandolim?

Yes, I believe so - but someone else might confirm. Perhaps there are many instrument variations of which I am not aware. I'm happy you enjoyed the video!

Yes it's a bandolim, a Brazilian style mandolin. I love the tone color of these instruments.

David - how did you make the actual video appear rather than just the link? I used the "insert video" button. Thank you.

There's an icon 2nd from right in the toolbar - it looks like a bit of film - where you can insert the video url and it shows the video.
