    Default Pick Quick

I'm a beginner starting with the B maybe E! What's it called when picking on 1 string back and forth quickly? I'v looked and looked, can't find any words to describe it. Usually I see it done when someone is playing tab. Thank you so much,

    Tremelo.
There's lots about it on the Forum.

I believe you are referring to tremolo, though I assume you are doing it on one course of strings.
