Thread: A Style balance

    Default A Style balance

I recent bought a Eastman MD604 A style with oval tone hole. Like the overall sound, etc. But I can't get comfortable playing it. The strap needs to be hung from the headstock and the instrument then pulls to right. I find I need to place too much pressure from my right arm to keep the instrument in place.

    Any suggestions?

I would have a strap button installed.
I cant stand having a strap attached to the headstock.
