    I built this for my mandolin but SWMBO decided she needed to test it on her fiddle. Made from scraps I had in the garage. Not for long term use but I think it will work for convenience. The fiddle stand I now have to make will include a bow holder. I added clear after this photo and the birds eye on the base really did pop. Thought some of you more talented than I might be inspired to make your own. I found this a fun and useful project.

    Thanks. I think it looks better than the metal tripod I was using and I had fun scrounging around to find material.
