    Default NMD Pava Pro

I am happy to share my new mandolin from the Mandolin Store. This is my Pava Pro Deluxe A5, with a varnish finish, torrefied top, one piece back, gold James tailpiece, gold Gotoh Tuners, ebony pickguard and fully bound. I can hear the difference-- a real step up for me!

Congratulations and happy picking. I've lusted after the Pava for quite a while. Glad you've got ahold of one. Looking forward to sound clips.

Nice Dan, I have only played one Pava, but it made an impression. Enjoy as I am sure you will.

    Lovely—enjoy it.

I treated myself to a Pava oval-hole this spring. Hope you love yours as much as I do mine.

That top is stunning, Dan, and I know the sacrifices you were willing to make to acquire that Pava. I hope that you play the frets off of it in good health!

    Very beautiful! Congrats!

One question .... When you have a whole herd, how do you find time for them all

Thank You, Pat, and thanks for being my shopping buddy. You’re right— I sold three treasures to take a step up and I was blown away when I laid the pick to the courses the first time. Have a great opening of the virtual school year! Dan

Sue, I tend to thin the herd to add one. But you’re right— you can get to the place where some of the mandolins and guitars feel left out.

Congratulations Dan! I bought a Pava about 5 years ago from the Mandolin Store (NFI) and have never regretted it! Enjoy!
And love the shirt - I too am a Johnny Cash fan! LOL!!

I’m not sure which I liked more, the sweet sound of that Pava or the satisfied smile at the end!
