Default Need a soft case for an oddly-shaped octave mandolin

I figure the CBOM section is probably the best place for this given the range of shapes and designs out there...

I got this Wishnevsky octave mandolin and it has a sort of teardrop shape, but the top of the teardrop goes halfway up the fretboard on one side.

Anyway, I need a case that will fit it. I live out in in the boonies with no shops around that might have this kind of thing. Any suggestions on a soft case that will fit it? I was thinking maybe an octave mandolin soft case, but I've never owned an octave mandolin before and I don't know how tightly fitting the cases can be.

Guitar gig bag. Go to one of the MC sponsors and talk to someone with instrument and tape measure in hand. Might not be snug but you can always use towels to pad it.

Taylor Baby gig bag is my go to for stuff like this. The earlier ones are slightly better than the newer ones. Nicely made and padded.
    Intended Guitar Type: Baby Taylor
    Int Overall Length: 34.5"
    Int Body Length: 16"
    Int Body Depth: 3"
    Int Lower Bout Width: 12"
    Int Upper Bout Width: 9.5"
    Internal Materials: 70-denier Fabric
    External Materials: 600-denier Fabric
    Padding: EPE foam
    Handles/Straps: Carrying handle, shoulder strap
    Pockets: 1 x exterior
    Manufacturer Part Number: K0301006102000

Just checked....Sweetwater has them on sale right now for 50 including shipping. Make sure you get the one for the Baby not the Mini.
