Default Poll for the Song A Week Social Group Week #528

This poll is for the Song A Week Social Group Week #528.

One vote per member of the social group. Please feel free to link to videos of these tunes, as a reply to this discussion, to help others decide!

If you are a regular member, you know that our polls have been weekly polls, for years, but that over the last few months I've been experimenting with changing that. Our poll will be a biweekly poll. Hopefully, that interval will be enough to keep your interest, and also give you enough time to learn it. I will try to announce the winner on Friday, August 14, in the Song A Week Social Group forum.

If you are not yet a member, there's a link at the bottom of this post that will take you there! Please join us over there!

OK, I found a video of my friend Dr. Frank Claudy playing "Old Decency," so I'm throwing in for that. I'll try to get him to record it with me if it wins the horse race.

    Phew!
    Thanks Gelsenbury.
I voted on this one just because it had a foreign sounding title, I did try to find it with Google.

Luckily it’s a beautiful tune too.

Now I’m wondering about Lantern in the ditch...

Nice to meet you. Coincidentally, we were in Maidstone today. Boughton Monchelsea is near there.

That's not me in the video. It's the first and only recording I could find of this tune, and I thought it would sound good on mandolin.
