Virtual Newport Folk Festival this weekend
Like all of our favorite festivals, Newport is virtual this weekend. They have a number of events from their website www.newportfolk.org. Personally, I am excited about streaming some sets from past festivals starting tomorrow morning at 11, when the real-life festival would be starting. Special note to the Cafe crowd would be the bluegrass set early Saturday afternoon at 1:37pm. They are only listing "Various Artists 1959-2019" so it should be fun. No paywall on the streaming.
