Default Monroe Mandolin Camp goes virtual.

First I've heard of this. What a great camp, instructors, students, location and price. Might have to sign up August 1st and lock myself in the music room.
Hate for my family to have listen to me. Even from behind a closed door. I'll just turn up the volume on the instructor.

I’m considering this as well. $250 for some good instruction and material.

Heidi posted on FB that it's open for registration. https://monroemandolincamp.com

"There are 38 individual classes (pre-recorded and videoed, plus 14 hours of LIVE in person gathering times led by our instructors (via ZOOM-the tentative schedule is attached in the instructions pdf. All links to access the live zoom gatherings will be in the course page on the website.)

There may be some bops and things along the way once all classes open on Sept 16th, but we hope it will all go smoothly. If you are able to join me for a kick off coffee chat on Wed, Sept 16th at 10:00am, then I'd love to see each and every one of you!

Don't forget the Station Inn "A Night of Monroe's Bluegrass Classics" on Tuesday (gulp, one week from tonight) at 8pm CDT. The Station Inn is not open for audience members, but you can watch live online at various sources. "

They are doing a fine job with a bunch of Zoom meetings in addition to the recorded lessons. FYI the recorded lessons/classes will be available until Dec. 31 if you're worried you won't be able to get everything out of the lessons in just this week.

I wish I could fit this in this weekend, but I swimming in paperwork. I’d encourage anyone who might have doubts about the Zoom format to reconsider. I’ve done a bunch of these events and they have all been great.
