The Hampton Trio: FB Live at the Vanilla Bean Cafe, TONIGHT
The Hampton Trio (Beverly Davis, classical guitar; Mark Davis, mandolin, myself, on mandola in G) will be performing this evening (6 - 7:30 PM EST) at the Vanilla Bean Cafe in Pomfret CT. We will be broadcasting on Facebook Live (https://www.thevanillabeancafe.com/e...nstance_id=692). Music by Olaf Naslund, Ricardo Sandoval, Calace, Jonathan Jensen, Stephen Lalor, Lully (French baroque), Angel Barrios, Eileen Pakenham, and Yasuo Kuwahara. Mark and Beverly will also play some duets and I will play a few of my arrangements on solo mandola.

Addendum: our program will also feature a beautiful piece by Mark Linkins, "Variations on an Ancient Irish Theme".

Great music and ensemble playing. Sound quality and balance was surprisingly good for a casual outdoor streetside patio setting (motorcycles aside). You really rocked on the protests songs.
