Thread: Anybody know anything?

  1. #1

    Default Anybody know anything?

It's an Ozark 2250. Though an older model. I've seen cases with ozark instruments of older models with no available info online. I've seen a few cases where models with the same name appear to have different builds depending on when they're made.

I was going to add that to my post, but at the last minute didn't. Thanks Charles, glad someone has the same memories and sense of humor.

I saw and heard one being played a few years ago in Arkansas but wasn't impressed much. A very tinny sound ! May have just been this particular model and a larger sampling of this company made mandolin would be warranted.

That’s a pretty little pancake, but like most, I’m just here for the existentialism.

Thread has been up almost 24 hours, I’m a little concerned JeffD hasn’t commented....

The thread title reminds me of a conversation I had many years ago with one of my university lecturers in a bar in Barcelona when we agreed that the more you learned, the more you realised that there was so much you didn’t know and which, presumably, is what keeps the Cafe going.

We could introduce the concept of "known unknowns" vs "unknown unknowns" but even that might not show what anyone knows or doesn't know.

The Barcelona conversation definitely didn’t touch upon “Faulty Twats” or whatever else it was called!

If I recall correctly, it was "Flowery", making an anagram from the letters of "Fawlty Towers".

Tremendous! People can't believe this thread. No one has ever seen a thread like this.
