    Default Nitro Safe Cork Stands

    I know that this topic has been discussed before but in the past the advice has been mixed. Are K & M cork stands safe for gloss nitrocellulose instruments? Any new opinions based on experience would be great. I know about the cotton thing. Thanks a lot!

    Yes, they ar even safe for shellac, as are their white rubber stands.

    "know about that cotton thing" what thing? Is that the thing where i have successfully modified cheap stands with foam, into safe stands by wrapping the stands with cotton bartape for roadbikes?
