    Default Gibson catalogs

    Found this site that has some cool older Gibson Mandolin-Guitar Catalogs from the Teens. My 1916 Gibson A was $25, and the Canvas case was $1.75 That's $588 in todays money. Enjoy!

    I loved the "mandolin furnishings" in the catalog. Cool that you could select the various replacement parts.

    Yeah Jim, imagine if we could get those replacement parts for Loar tuners, cases, etc..that cheap today! Man I'll be a volunteer to go in a time machine any day!

    That is a good link and the Fender section had some older catalogs as well.

    Another good source of downloadable older catalogs from Gibson and other makers are at acousticmusic.org.
