    Default Lessons with Adam Steffey

Just emailed Adam Steffey to setup lessons. To say I’m a little excited would be an understatement. I met Adam a couple times at the last Ohio Boxcars shows, and he was the coolest guy ever. Can’t wait to start learning from him.

Nice to hear about him. He fell off radar after leaving Volume Five.

It took some digging to find what I was afraid was an outdated email address, but he replied. Was super friendly in the email, as well, and his price for lessons is much less than I was expecting.

Just had my first lesson with Adam. Can’t recommend him highly enough. He asked me to play something, and I did the beginning of “Whiskey Before Breakfast,” which I learned last night. From that, he went at a pace that was perfect for me. Learned a new tune (“Leather Britches”) and he answered about 100 random questions I always get hung up on, without me even asking. Scheduled a lesson for next week, and can’t wait to meet again.
