Default A little late but here is my NMD post

I got it 6 weeks or so ago, an off the shelf Sawchyn Beavertail mandolin, purchased directly from Peter Sawchyn in Canada. He was great to deal with and I really love the mandolin.

    Spruce/Maple
    1 1/8 Ebony radiused fretboard
Very comfortable neck profile (maybe a rounded 'C', I'm not good at neck profile descriptions. Definitely not a 'V')

Nice. Peter has been a sort of under the radar maker but has been building since 1972. His mandolins always have been appealing especially the Beavertails.
