    Default Brendan o'Regan mandolin playing

I very much enjoy Brendan's mandolin playing. I caught a bit of a Facebook live performance he did about 3 weeks ago but I don't think it's still on his page where he ended up with what I think might have been The Ace And Deuce Of Piping. I thought he was excellent.

Any good videos of his mandolin out there please?

    Meanwhile this is good.

Very good. They sound like Carolan tunes. Does anyone know the tune names?

I assume those are the titles at the start of the video, on the bottom left: Mr O'Connor and The Medina Reel.

Exquisite playing. And the balance between the instruments is perfect.

I toured the USA with Brendan when he was a member of De Danann, back in 1983. A true wizard of the strings and I believe he became an accomplished studio producer. Great guy!
