I think I read through this throughly. I am not sure what the price point was nor do I know the cost for a Buckeye. For the record, the banjos sure look and sound nice.

There is a pretty one offered for a pretty penny here: https://www.banjobuyer.com/banjo/82705and it

Bart Reiter has really, officially, and completely retired. He has sold off all of his shop equipment. If he ever makes any more instruments, they will be made with only the most basic of tools, and only if he wants to smell sawdust again.
Mike Ramsey passed away last Thursday from a massive stroke.
Old Vega Tubaphone and Whyte Laydie tenors can still be found for $600 to $1200. Have a good 5 string neck made and you have a d--- good instrument. Tenors that have already been converted can be found for $1500 or less. Or, if you're handy with tools, Bernunzio still has a few Eastman repro necks left-- $275 for a plain one, $399 with inlaid fingerboard and a gryphon in the head. Since Eastman has discontinued banjos, there probably won't be any more of these necks available after the current batch is gone. And since some of the Irish tenor players have discovered the old Vegas, they are getting harder to find, and prices are creeping up.
Damn, didn’t know about Mike ( RIP, brother…
Bart Reiter posted a brief statement from Mike Ramsey's daughters on Friday: www.banjohangout.org/topic/375953

Maybe. And his prices have certainly climbed:

However, your own The Music Emporium mentioned one from NAMM 2016 and one or two that have arrived subsequently before your own:

If anybody else out west is looking at Ome's and can make a trip to Dusty Strings, Gryphon or Denver Folklore, I'll say it's a lot of fun but they all seem to be low stocked right now (actually never been to Folklore and a long time since I went to Gryphon...)
also Sylvan in Santa Cruz occasionally gets some

Kentucky km900
Yamaha piano, clarinet, violin; generic cello;
a pedal steel (highly recommended); banjo, dobro don't get played much cause i'm considerate ;}
Shopping/monitoring prices: vibraphone/marimbas, rhodes, synths, Yamaha brass and double reeds
If in Canada, Bill Rickard would be a good choice. He also uses his own brand of 10:1 tuners, which I had installed on my JP tenor banjo. They work great! Another good open-back banjo builder to check out would be Carl Arcand (Second Life Banjos) in Quebec -- does great work! As well as building banjos from scratch, he also does a lot of neck replicates for tenor conversions.

Too many instruments...too little time
I discovered that backroom, and it is at Bernunzio’s:

They also just quickly moved interesting builds by Jason Burns, Kevin Fore, and Greg Galbreath.
