    Default Taylor Thermex Picks

I found these Taylor Thermex picks yesterday at A# Music in Kent (not a bad little store for mostly guitars).

    For about $2 a pick I figured I'd give them a go!

They remind me of Dawg picks although the more triangular shape feels better in my hand. I like the size.

Bump... I just received some of those Taylor Thermex picks and at first, I was somewhat unimpressed, BUT, I polished the points to a shine and then both the tone and the glide on the strings was so much smoother. These are keepers for me. Perfect shape too. Good volume. I did round off one of the points just a little more to have that option. They take a bit of the brightness out of the E course, which I like and still have good articulation of the wound strings. I use Red Bear, Blue Chip, and these give just a tad darker tone. And, they are great for when you are in an environment where it is easy to lose an expensive pick.
