Nickel Bronze has less overtones. Chris Eldridge uses them, and says he hears more guitar and less string. I’ve used them on multiple mandolins, guitars, and a dobro, and agree with him. I met Adam Steffey a few years ago, and he used them. Said he could kill any set of strings in a single show, but the NB held up for several, even in the summer with the sweat and humidity.
