Wishing you the best and remember miracles due occur, Keep your head up and I know that things can and will bring you down but persevere brother! I had a rough 10 or so years some I couldn't even play mandolin due to the chest pressure and was told I had a year left to live in 2011-12, I'll never be right but I'm better, all it took was the right Dr. in the right place! You will be in my prayers as there is power in all that!

I'm flattered -- and truly honored! -- to have been listed as one of your mentors. As a university scientist, I've mentored a good many students over the years, but never have I thought of myself as a mentor in any other context. Like so many our talented, passionate colleagues here on the Mandolin Cafe, we share a deep love for music, and we have a special, warm spot in our hearts for the mandolin. I'm deeply aggrieved to learn about your medical issues. Alas, we're powerless about so many things in this life. I can only wish that your remaining time is filled with fellowship, love, and more music.
