Default Last Train Home on my Tyler White mandolin

Howdy folks, I recently realized I haven’t posted a video of my new Tyler White mandolin since I got it back in October, so here’s my cover of Last Train Home from the Lonesome Whistle cd Cracker Barrel sold years ago. Hope you like it.

This mandolin is not hard to fret at all, in case anyone notices me struggling to make clean notes throughout the video, I’m currently struggling with carpal tunnel issues, and I’m in quite a bit of pain while playing. My fingers go numb and my hands get really stiff after only a few minutes of playing, and it’s only getting worse. Just don’t want anyone to think less of the mandolin or Tyler White’s setup, its an amazing mandolin, I only wish my playing did it justice.

Very nice Jesse! Sorry to hear about the pain you're experiencing. I hope you can get good help and play pain-free.

The White sounds really good. To bad you are having issues with carpal tunnel. We have heard enough from you to know that you are a much better player so it must be really bothering you. To ban you aren't closer my wife is an OT. Anyway hopefully you can get this under control and start playing again.

Sounds great Jesse! Tyler does make a fantastic mandolin for sure! Hope your carpel tunnel heals ups and you’re back to picking in optimum health soon!
