Thread: A photo of our Mandolin

Default A photo of our Mandolin

Hi, this is a photo of our mandolin, it was given to us from my father in law. It came from Germany.
I know nothing about Mandolins, except maybe this is a teardrop shape and is not flat backed. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this one?
It needs some repair as well. Dried out over the years.

I think this is often called a Portuguese mandolin but is usually made in Germany or eastern Europe.
