You can pay a king's ransom for the clamp and guard plate alone.so this is probably a very good buy. If it had the tailpiece cover it would be a real bargain. Original tuners but from what I can see of the bridge, it looks like it is a Kay item but if it works and fits well, that is O Kay!

I revived a 1913 last year that arrived in slightly worse condition. It's no collector's piece but I love it. If I didn't have a million other things to do right now, I'd jump on this one...

It's a good project instrument for someone who is learning the craft and wants to keep it.
Bear in mind that with the filled areas re-done correctly and a good authentic varnish finish, it would resell for no more than $700 - $800 at the most.
