No regrets on doing what I had to do, but I miss the feel and the sound of my Collings. Its now been (nearly) a year and a half (about 17 months) since I sold all my instruments and gear except for one cheap guitar, one cheap mandolin, and a uke. I had good practical reason, as well as painful personal reason and pressing financial reason for making the choices I made.
But yesterday, I went into a nostalgic mode of watching a bunch of the videos I'd made over the last five years or so of trying to learn mandolin, and some of the ones made with the Collings made my heart ache a bit.
Cest la vie!
I do love, and am grateful for, my cheapie, but I'm really looking forward to the day when I can upgrade again.
That's all. Sorry for the tears in public
