    Default Hawk Picks

Having spent a lot of time and money on trying to find the right pick, with consideration to material, shape, thickness and bevels over the years. I ended up having to modify them to suit me. then a couple of years back I found Hawk Picks, again not the cheapest
nor are they the most expensive I have purchased. From the outset I found them to be really good for my style of playing. I then purchased a slightly thicker, 2mm more rounded pick which I found to give a more mellow sound, which I was wanting for some of the tunes I played. So for me I find that Hawk Picks are now my go to.

I have no affiliation with Hawk picks other than we both reside in the UK. I would recommend you give them a try, especially if you are using the more expensive picks. their website is https://hawkpicks.co.uk

I love casin picks too. I don’t use them much for gigs, as they wear fast and I have had problems with forgetting to rotate my grip, resulting in warped or bent feel to pick as my heat and sweat soften the casin.
I look forward to the next material science development that gets the feel of casin and the durability of bluechip.

I like the Hawk picks, too. They glide across the strings pretty well, and the bevel gives a lot of volume and (pleasant) brightness. On the other hand, there may be a little more "pick click" than with some other picks.

Several Hawk picks are included in my informal comparison here:
