    Default 2 Used Gibson Mandolins

I'm looking at 2 Mandolins in my price range.

    Gibson, A-00, Mandolin, c.1934-35

    and

    Gibson, A-50, Mandolin, 1963

A reputable local shop, that repairs, and sets up, instruments is selling them. I have not played since the 70's and I was playing a pretty inexpensive, 2nd or 3rd hand, instrument (I don't remember the brand). The shop also stocks some new Eastman's and a Kentucky within my budget ($1000.00) or less.

What trouble spots would you look for in the Gibson's?

Does one of them 'talk' to you? Make you want to play it more? Feel 'right' in your hand? Catch your eye? Do you find yourself thinking about it?

    In an intuitive way...

    If so, that's the one!
