So, if you'd like a copy now,
go print off the old order form except cross out <s>Little River Stomp</s> and write in Back Home Again.

Gee, ya' gotta love new/low tech! #

    Thanks Phil,
Little River Stomp is one of my favorite mandolin recordings.
I intend on ordering the new one immediately. Gary S

Curtis called me last week and said my copy is sitting on his mantle! If I hadn't had surgery last week, I would have it already. I think I will drive up to his place get it tonite. Maybe I'll get a lesson out the trip also!

John, I was wondering where you've been hiding. Glad to see you're apparently on the mend.

Please give us a review. I'll get my order in the mail, pronto.

I just drove to Curtis' house, got the CD and listened to it on the way home. It did not disappoint! Once again Curtis stretches the boundaries of what old-time music is and what mandolin can contribute to it. It is great to hear him recorded again. He is one of a kind. Nobody sounds like he does.

Oh, BTW: This advice will certainly depend on your stereo equipment and your preferences, but if you looking for a similar overall sound to "Little River Stomp," (which I was) you will really need to crank up the treble on this CD. I think the recording engineer was going for more of a "background music" approach where the mando blended with the guitar and bass. If you crank up the treble, the mando really jumps out and it sounds more like LRS.
