Default Mandolin Tremolo with Ruth Roshan

This came across via email. Ruth Roshan is a mandolinist in Australia who is offering up a series of lessons on tremolo that may be of interest. Her note:

    Dearest friends and music lovers,

Should you find yourself at home quite a lot these days, what better way to pass the time than honing your mandolin skills?

To this end I've made a series of four short video lessons all about mandolin tremolo.. Here is the link. The response has been quite something ... who knew there was such thirst for knowledge about the minutiae of mandolin tremolo.

I also made a "video extra" to the lesson series playing Piazzolla's Oblivion on mandolin (to my own pre-recorded piano accompaniment). Mandolin Oblivion on Youtube:

Wishing you health and happiness and lots of music.

Just to note she posted the first one in the Theory and Techniques section on April 8th with follow up as she did the others. There has been a pretty decent discussion going, mostly thanks to her for doing them. They are quite good. Here is the link to her original thread.
