Nope, seems all perfectly true to me, especially the part about Jethro's style being similar to Bill Monroe

Yeah, it’s probably total clickbait. But it is an object lesson. Last night I was thinking about buying some studio monitor stands. What did I do? Google “Best studio monitor stands.” Last week, it was “Best LED video lights.”

I like this CON in the review of the EJ-74 strings:

"Keep in mind the size of these strings as they will make a great fit only for medium-sized mandolins"

Yeah, but don't leave it alone with any of your other instruments, particularly during the winter months.

That was even funnier than the article’s line about the strings only fitting “medium-sized mandolins”!

That $7.79 bridge caught my eye and is burning a whole in my pocket right now. Why spend $75.00 for a Cumberland Acoustic from Steve Smith when you can have that little honey?

Standard click-bait article. Of little to no value.

Some of the reviewers obviously did not take their medication prior to listening and examining the mandolins.

Its hilarious what computer algorithms can create! It almost sounds like a human wrote that article. I found it of great entertainment value.

Wow! Just - WOW!! It MIGHT have been accurate if it said "top-rated STARTER mandolins of 2020 in our opinion." I did think it was pretty humorous, though.

These are actually pretty interesting. I think its a valuable guide for the mass produced entry instruments available to the vast majority of new players. I'm pretty amazed at how much more expensive the KM150 has gotten over the years. I don't know if I would recommend that for someone just "interested in playing" over the Savannah (formerly Johnson). I had both brands and found them both adequate when set up well.

I hope Demetrius sees this thread and maybe can have some help finding The One.
