iPhone mic and Audacity

Hi, Everyone:

Quick question.... Is an iPhone (8s) mic compatible with Audacity? I'm looking to do some low-fi home recordings. I know there are better mics/combos, but see as I already have an iPhone and Audacity, I'd like to get started without spending any more money.

Edit: I don't see an iOS version. How did you you plan to run it?

GarageBand is in your phone. Easy.

I use Voice Pro on my Iphone and export to Audacity on my laptop as a wav file. It works well enough, but it's not a bad idea to invest in a better mic.
