"A Bruxa"
"A Abruxa" is a waltz on a Dakota Dave Hull recording. Anyone know
of the music notation for this?

Re: "A Bruxa"
Great tune!
There are several settings at the Session:

Also, there's a three-part harmony setting in one of Evelyn's books and I recall a rather intricate transcription in one of the old Mandozine Tabledit files (not sure where they are these days).

Re: "A Bruxa"
FWIW, I recorded a setting of that quite a few years ago now with Moving Cloud Orchestra, with me on mandolin, Sara Hiebert on fiddle, Paul Machlis on piano. Live in a recital hall, warts and all.
The full track is online here:

Composed by Galician accordionist Antón Seoane.

Lately, Carlos Beciero, who plays mandolin/OM/guitar etc. in the well-known Northern Spanish band La Musgaña has been posting some tunes on FB.

Re: "A Bruxa"
That great tune is on the album" Hull and Larson Double Cappuccino" there was a transcription of this floating around at one time. Mandolin Magazine I think? I'll try to dig it out. If I find it I'll let you know. Stellar playing from those two, Kari Larson on mandolin.

Mark mentioned that A Bruxa is on the album by Dave Hull and Kari Larson. The final tune, "First Snow," by them is also great!

Re: "A Bruxa"
After reading this discussion I had to make my own video of this beautiful tune.
I have recorded the accompaniment with guitar and mandolin with my loop station, for the video I have played the melody on the mandolin and on the guitar.
I have got the CD Double Cappuccino many years ago as a present! It's one of my favorite mandolin & guitar CDs.

A version by the Alta California Orchestra.
I played bass and guitar on this some years ago.
