Default British. Ukulele Orchestra & Mandolins

I've been surfing Youtube looking for new tunes I can use on my mandolins. I clicked on a tune this group was performing (Heroes, by David Bowie) It's a fun tune!!. Once I acquire the chords on the internet I'm normally able to find the right key using my capo and play along with the performer, but not with these people. I've tried several alternate tunings and moved the capo up to 7 frets with no luck. Guitar cords to mandolin cords work , but not ukulele My closest was GDAE W/the capo on the 2nd fret, but it's still no good. Any Ideas!

We ll they are in the key of F so if you are on Mandolin and can't play in key without capo, put capo on 3rd fret and imagine you arev playing in key D.

Better still just listen to the bass which guides yo to the chords and learn it withoutn capo. Chords first then melody.

    Good luck
