So very sad to hear of John Prines passing. Rest in Peace John. When you get there, grab that guitar a sing like your are 21 again! I'm sure Heaven will be pleased. One of John's songs was "Paradise", sung by Jim & Jesse and the Virginia Boys. Timeless.

I never met you, John. But you always told me so much about yourself through your music. Goodbye dear friend. Rest well.
No matter where I go, there I am...Unless I'm running a little late.
Gut punch. RIP John. Played your songs from the first album on and will continue to.

RIP, John. Thanks for the gifts of your songs. They have been a blessing to our hearts.
"Put your hands to the wood
Touch the music put there by the summer sun and wind
The rhythms of the rain, locked within the rings
And let your fingers find The Music in the Wood."

i listen to a little bit of his muic every day. I've never been to a jam where somebody didn't pull out one of his tunes. If they didn't I would.
Hope you prove your dad wrong, let me know.
I have been listening to a couple of his songs every day too! Just found out a dear friend of mine has been taken. An excellent chef, dinner tasted like cardboard last night! I will make myself do something more spectacular tonight in his honor! While listening to some John Prine!

While it is possible that what you find depends on where you look, it appears to me that this virus is taking a disproportionate number of our most talented and beloved musicians. Heartbreaking. Truly heartbreaking. . .
