A new mandolin family instrument has been added to The Music Emporium inventory:

Girouard A5 Studio

View instrument...

Brand new A5 Studio fresh off the bench from Rhode Island builders Max and Lauri Girouard. The "Studio" level instruments are somewhat stripped down, but still retain all the premium features that make them sound like they should cost twice the price. This particular instrument is crisp sounding with plenty of overtones popping out in the higher register, making it a great instrument for sitting on top of a mix. Some highlights include Engelmann spruce top, Bigleaf maple back and sides, Rubner tuners, and a hand applied burst. Max and Lauri have been getting a lot of attention and have received rave reviews; after playing a few notes on one of their mandolins, you will see why. Priced with hardshell case.
