Back in 1998 or so I was driving down a desert highway somewhere in New Mexico. I got behind a nice RV with “The Gambler’s Roost” written on the back in a fancy custom paint job. When I passed it I looked over and a smiling Kenny Rogers was driving the RV. He flashed me a smile and we exchanged a hearty wave.
