Thanks, I hadn't heard. He had a great life and will be missed.
RIP - good voice; some of his material was not primo.
I've always enjoyed Kenny's music. He was a true gentleman and one of the greats of country music.
If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in English, thank a vet.
We used to sing this:
You picked a fine time leave me Lucille,
Four hundred children, a load more in the field...
He had a funny sense of humour, there are other lyrics too.
Or, You picked a fine time leave me, loose wheel ...
writing about music
is like dancing,
about architecture
...with four hundred children and a croc in the field
An Eldorado for mondegreens.
the world is better off without bad ideas, good ideas are better off without the world
Then there's the weird psychedelic "Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)"

Skip Kelley #063 Offset Two Point (2017)
Arches #9 A Style (2005)
Bourgeois M5A (2022)
Hohner and Seydel Harmonicas (various keys)
